Small batch Littles Mash
¼ cup Lentils
2 Tbsp of each
Brown rice , bulgar wheat
About 10-15 spagetti noodles cut up into about 1” lengths
¼-1/2 cup Kale ( kale can be cut up and froze) and added to the mix
Peas , corn, carrots, broccoli cut up small ( ¼ cup each)
1 apple cut up small
¼ tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp Parsley, Paprika
1 Tbsp Coconut oil (if you have)
½ tsp of each or what ever you have of these spices
(NEVER NUTMEG, ONIONS MUSHROOMS, ACACADO)
Boil the Lentils, til they start to soften (aprx 1 cup water) add the Rice ,quinoea, couscous, bulgar wheat & spagattie noodles, cut up carrots(un salted soup mix can be used as well) You may need to add more water. When semi hard drain and set aside. Add the remaining veggies and fruit once cooled somewhat. Then add your Boiled egg crumbled up & your spices.Serve When you notice what their favorites are next time add more of that ;)
-If there are partiqular veggies your birdies like add that to it as well or add more of that veggie. I suggest you save soft veggies and fruits for the day you serve (ie Strawberries etc) I generally add romaine lettus and spinach to this mash so they are getting fresh along with cooked.
Freeze in amounts for daily use
