Doreena Blanchard ( Trixie ~ Yellowsided Conure- Parents Brooke & Rocky) July 10,2014 From our first contact, I knew I had found the right Aviary. Pamela does not operate her Aviary as just a business but as someone who loves her parent birds and their babies. She has a method she calls co-parenting and wow I am impressed by this method. When she was putting Trixie in her travel cage, her mom looked on but was not stressed by losing her baby which made me feel so good.Trixie showed no signs of stress travelling from Saint John to Nackawic and in no time was eating and playing with the paper in her cage! I received informative information during our times of contact by facebook which helped me immensely to prepare Trixie's new home. I felt very comfortable in Pamela's lovely Aviary and I liked her assortment of toys. I feel like I have made a new friend in Pamela and look forward to visiting her when I am in Saint John - she will be my source for new toys. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a companion bird. My choice was a lovely Conure who loves a lot of attention and will enjoy just being with me. I think we are well matched in personality lol. Thank you Pamela so very much for the lovely care and preparation work you gave Trixie. ....we will be very happy together I am sure. Thank you so much Doreena for the wonderful feedback. I am glad your experiance has been a good one. Remember posistive reinforcement. Like a child she will try and test you. But your love for her will guide her through it. Hugz Nana Pam. __________________________________________ Linsy Porelle ~ Gracie - Yellowsided Conure~ (Brooke and Rocky) July 13,2014 Yesterday at 4:29pm I had visited Pam's Busy Beaks Aviary a couple of times and each time was drawn to the conures. After doing some research on different species of birds I decided I would love a companion Green Cheek. I immediately asked Pam to be put on her list. My baby Gracie was born on May 20th, 2014. My experience was nothing short of spectacular. Throughout the entire process Pamela was a source of guidance and knowledge. Never hesitating to quickly answer any and all of my questions. I was welcomed into Pam's home and quickly became a frequent visitor to the aviary. I was able to visit Gracie and all the babies a couple times each week. I felt extremely bonded to my baby, even before she was ready to come home. Baby Gracie is home now and I couldn't be happier. I now consider Pam one of my very good friends and bringing Gracie home will not stop my visits to all the baby birds in the future. Thank you Linsy. I am so happy you have found your match. It has been very nice gettting to know you and an honor to teach you about the love of birds. This is a new experiance for you never owing birds in your life til now. I bet you now know what you were missing out on. I don't think my life would ever be complete with out a bird or birds in my life. Also glad I have made a new friend. PLEASE NOTE: GRACIE WAS RE-HOMED TO DOT GOOD FRIEND OF DOREENA'S IN NAKAWICK. SHE FOUND HER FOREVER HOME :) ________________________________________________________ Frank Sormany - Flora - Yellowsided Green Cheek Conure I contacted Pam Golding when baby Flora was about a week old. From that day onwards she would keep me posted almost everyday! She would post pictures of her on the group and would message me on her progress. At 1 month of age I visited Pam's Busy Beaks Aviary for the first time, and had the chance to meet Flora and play with her a bit. After that Pam kept me posted and was there to answer all of my questions while I was getting ready to get my fid. Pam also hand raised Flora, so that she would be tame when I'd get her. And she was (and still is :P ). I have owned birds before who weren't handraised and I can assure you, it helps A LOT. When I went to get Flora, Pam had all the papers (DNA, Birth certificate, tips, info, etc etc) ready for me. I played a bit with her and then took her home! Flora was the CUTEST! She was very quiet, very relaxed and loved to get my attention. On her second week home we started her training! Now, everyday when I got home from work we do some exercises and she learns very quickly! She keeps on doing great and I am sure will keep being an awesome fid! On Pam's part, I wouldn't change anything. She did a wonderful job on raising my girl and I would personally recommend Pam's Busy Beaks Aviary to anyone who is looking for the perfect parrot! Thank you Frank. I am glad you are happy with your baby. I am glad also you finally have a bird tha you can interact with. Always easier when they are babies. I feel all my conure babies got their perfect homes. They picked you :) _____________________________________________________________________ Kaley Perrin (Elmo DD Green & AVA Turquoise) I met Pam a few months ago when I had gone to visit her aviary. I looked at all the baby birds, did my homework and came home with Elmo. My very first Lineolated Parakeet (Linnie). Elmo is going through his first molt, so he is a little cranky. Other than that, he is as sweet as pie.. loving, and an EXCELLENT talker. He chirps beautifully. Pam was always so helpful and had an answer for all my questions. Since then, I have been to her aviary numerous times for visits. She has taught me how to clip wings, trim nails and has gave me so much advise. Today, I brought home my second baby Linnie. "Ava" a turquoise lineolated parakeet. Elmo and Ava are quickly bonding and I know they will have a wonderful relationship. I HIGHLY recommend Pam to anyone looking to adopt a baby, she is AMAZING. Thanks Kaley I totally enjoy your visits and passing my experiance with birds on to you and make your transition into your new postion at the pet store a bit smoother. Your a great bird mom. Elmo is doing very well. Ava will do great in your care. Their molts will not be so bad from now on with each other with preening their feathers and you will notice next time feathers and no cranky Elmo. I am so happy to have met you and will continue to help you with any bird information (learning) you may need. Hugz. Sarah Soucy ( Petrie - Male Parrotlet) well I met you through Kaley Perrin and I did not know what I was in for! my bird obsession has been taken to whole other level since I met Pam. with her care and support for all of those birds inspires me to do the same. as soon as I walked into the bird room I knew right off the bat that all of those birds were happy and healthy with their variety of foods and love! Pam is definitely someone I never want to lose contact with due to her outstanding knowledge of birds. Thanks Sarah I really think we both share an obsession with birds. It has been very nice meetng you and having you become a part of the "Busy Beak" family. I hope I can continue to help you with any questions you may have. I will always find an answer for you if I do not know right off. I can see by the photos that he is a happy birdie and a happy member of the family. EVERYONE loves a quiet birdie. and that is a Parrotlet. _______________________________________________________________________ Em Girouard I got a female parrotlet from you that is named Penny. The whole experience getting her was very good and I would not change a thing. I would recommend you to anyone interested in getting a bird. Thank you Em. Hoping I can possibly set you up with a baby Ringneck. I hear they are incredible babies. ____________________________________________________________________________ Cindy Cormier - (Charlotte High Red Yellowsided Green Cheeked Conure) I got a female yellow sided conure from Pam. I was on a waiting list for the next clutch but the parents are taking there good ol time, lol, so Pam graciously gave up Charlotte, one that she was keeping for herself, I am very grateful she did that as I was getting so anxious to get one of her beautiful babies.....Charlotte is a DOLL, so sweet and cuddly, exactly what I wanted. She did a wonderful job taming her babies, it's hard to believe they were not "hand fed"......she proves you don't need to deprive the parents of their babies to have tame birds.....I think this is wonderful....I would recommend her to anyone looking for a companion bird and she has a lot to chose from, I was very impressed and Gazoo is hilarious, he is the perfect "mascot" for her aviary. I'll be posting lots of pics and updates, I just love little Charlotte so much already......thanks so much Pam! WOW! Thankyou Cindy for the Wonderful Review. This has actually brought tears to my eyes. It is very hard to some to believe that Co-Parenting really works. Breeders who hand feed do a wonderful job BUT I belive the babies need their parents the first part of their journey. There are just things that they need to be taught. Charlotte is a wonderful little girl. It just amazes me how quickly she bonded to you after leaving here. YOU are obviously what she was waiting for. Thank you for giving Charlotte the perfect home. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Doreen Best 10 mins · Happy Valley Pam, Thanks so much! Both for sharing your pics, experience, information and also for your " niceness"! Lol I really appreciate it!You are doing a great job! - both in educating and providing service. Keep up the great work! I had sent a general email msg to several individuals in various parts of Canada when I first started to research how to approach this and none of the responses even compared to yours. When someone's heart is in what they do, it comes across in their communication. I appreciate that from you! Thanks again! I look forward to following your group and feathered friends ! I just had to save this in here. It is just a feel good reminder _________________________________________________________________________________Amy Amy Tughan I would change nothing about my experience with Pam's Busy Beaks. I purchased two cobalt linnies, Lemmy and Lola, they came home February 5. Pam is very very dedicated to her birds and displays true affection and empathy towards them. They are beautifully cared for and purchasing these fids was a very rewarding experience, as I was able to watch them grow up and visit them at various stages of deveolopment. When making my choice of species I did extensive research before deciding on Linnies, as I had previously been interested in a single parrotlet. Pam's knowledge and experience were immensely helpful and she is always willing to go above and beyond to answer questions. Amy you have been an absolute joy. It is very nice when potential Parronts do their homework and research the birds that interest them. As you know I love answering all questions It is a joy to help educate about those about their potential babies, and help match babies with owners. I do encourage people to come and visit the babies in different stages. It also allows people to see the environment that thier baby is coming from. That is just as important. If you see the baby is coming from a clean environment and well cared for. Then you know your getting a healthy baby... Thank you for your feed back Amy... Welcome to our family. _________________________________________________________________________________ Last Friday was a perfect day ! I adopted a sweetheart baby parrotlet. His name is Little Yoshi, he came into this world on Dec. 30th 2014. I was looking for the right bird for my family and Pam was always ready to answer all of my questions. At first I was even looking at other birds species that she didn't have and she was happy to help me out. I was immediately invited to visit her bird family anytime. After seeing her birds, it really showed that All of her babies and parents are loved and given lots of attention. Our little Yoshi is already used to being handled and is not nervous of different things or noises. He is already stepping up, happily chirping and playing. Pam gave me all the time I wanted to choose my baby Yoshi. Pam makes sure to have follow ups on her adopted babies making sure they are well and happy. Our baby came to us as a confident and healthy bird because he was well started in life by his parents and Pam :) Thank you Pam for your care and help! Dre Diane Noël DMV, IPSAV, CVA Veterinarian The Finer Points Of Medicine Veterinary Acupuncture Services ~~~~~ This actually brought tears to my eyes. Such wonderful praise / and from a Vet. Truely warms my heart. Thanks Diane _____________________________________________________________________________ Stephen Macisaac I've never owned a bird before but always wanted to. I admit i was nervous when finally deciding i was going to go for it. I contacted Pam to see about getting one of her beautiful parrotlets. From the time we first met I felt right at home. the experience was very comforting. the whole time i could tell Pam was someone who seriously cared about her birds and their well being. I think it was apparent i was a novice in bird ownership and Pam made every effort to ensure i was well informed and ready before i took home little Petey. The moment that put this experience at a 5-start rating was when i went to claim petey and Pam had literature on bird ownership, common concerns, recipes, etc. printed out for me. I can't express enough how grateful i am to have the whole process made simple and easy. I wouldn't change a thing and if me or anyone i know are ever considering buying a bird companion, I would send them to Pam without hesitation and know they are in good hands and recieving a quality "Fid" || Thank you Stephen. I hope he continues to be a good fid for you. Thank you for choosing me and my babies. __________________________________________________________ Email from Molly Neilson ~ PEI Hi Pam Sorry for not writing sooner ! Peitree is doing amazing ! Frank is doing well and he is very gentle and quiet. You can tell he was raised with love and gentleness. You definitely have a special way with your fids that shines through in your grandfids. I really enjoyed all the photos whilst waiting as well, made it feel more special. Frank is such a sweet boy and I couldn't be happier! heart emoticon Thank you Cole. I know this in the beginning was a very hard road for you losing your other Conure unexpectedly. I hope by how I run my aviary sending you photos and letting you bond with Frank helped in easing your mind about getting another conure and accepting Frank for who he is. I am so glad I have help fill that hole in your heart with Frank. ________________________________________ I am sure Molly would not mind sharing her wonderful heartwarming email I got from her. THIS is why I do what I do. please read her email to me below. Dear Pam. Well getting this response from you has made my day. id love to get a conure the same color as Maxx. that is if mollie and max have any babies. but this time i would be wanting a female if possible. id love to get updates and just any information you have regarding any babies that you have in the future. i was wondering if i got a different species of conure say a cinnamon or pineapple just for example could they mate with peitree ? or would i need to get another green cheek. my goal is not to breed them but i do want that to be a option down the road. Peitree has changed my life and my sons life in such a positive way , everyone that meets Peitree say they cannot believe how well behaved and people friendly he is and also how happy Peitree is when i come home from work hes just such a happy playful boy heart emoticon. anyways i am just so glad we will be able to have this amazing experience again by adding a new baby to the family and i couldn't imagine going anywhere else for a pet bird/parrot than you, you really are amazing at what you do , the love, nurture&care you give each one of your birds is truly inspiring and it makes all the difference, . anyways we will stay in touch lots of love yours truly molly and peitree nielsen |
